Ministry - rantology PDF Print E-mail
Written by daniel stahlecker

back in my day ministry tore it up...i was 17 at the factory in may of 96...it was hot as hell...ministry came out, played until they turned the lights on, then proceeded to rock for another 20 minutes...this cd is not as good as that particular night...ministry is basically one guy now, al jourgensen...he started in chicago basically as a depeche mode clone until he met paul barker and made 4 solid albums, "the mind is a terrible thing to taste", "the land of rape and honey", "psalm 69", and "filth pig"...then he discovered heroin and released junk unitl 2003...then paul barker left...so now its just him remixing songs on "rantology"...he dusts off a few classics, but its mainly newer stuff that just isn't as good as the old stuff...and what he's doing to the older stuff just isn't worth it...you can sample W too much...shoulda threw in some robot voices...wait, don't get me wrong, tracks 1, 3, and 9 are solid for real...but if your looking to buy a ministry album, get psalm 69...classic...

YOU SHOULD PLAY 1, 3, 9, and 12

YOU SHOULD NOT PLAY ANYTHING ELSE
