Alright, so this is like the sixth or seventh time I've redesigned the site since wcur.fm has been introduced two years ago. Usually, once a year or once every two years is protocol for a re-design. But, for whatever crazy reason, I'm never happy with the way it looks. After last year's debacle with spammers taking over the WCUR server in Exton, and the music reviews taking a giant dump on us, I was forced to re-do things again. This time, we used Mambo-- and I won't go into many specifics, but I think I got it right this time. WCUR staff members from across the spectrum will be providing updates and keeping the site fresh, not just me anymore. This allows me to dedicate more times to things that are really important: family, friends, homework, and making really stupid football bets.

Notice in the upper left hand corner, you have your usual click-y thingies to keep all you internet users happy: you can check out our list of DJs (with last names omitted, thank you very much scary stalker folks), a lineup of shows and archived playlists, our new music reviews, and information on how to become a DJ. In the upper right hand corner, you'll see at certain times of the day, when actual DJs are in the studio, you can see the songs being played in real time, plus you can listen anywhere in the world with our live mp3 streams. Our trusty webcam will be back online within a few days, giving you a mundane glance into the lives of our college DJs (you're welcome very much, scary stalker folks.)

All this is best viewed using Mozilla Firefox with a dash of Macromedia Flash plugin at a resolution of 1024x768. We're not done adding features yet, but we're certainly ready to call it a day in terms of making over the entire site. We welcome any feedback you might have at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Keep your eyes on this space for more updates, announcements, and contests.
