I just wanted to say overall the underground staff did a pretty good job running the event. They made it very easy for bands to park and unload vehicals, and set up was very nice. The one problem was that a soundcheck was never given, and our band "Untrained Eye" sounded like poop because of this. I don't blame anyone, I just want you to know we're a kick ass band and will be playing a longer, better set next Saturday, and I don't want our last performance to scare you away. Definitly check out the show at the Underground Sat the 26th. Special thanks to Kevin who will be taking the place of bass player Paul Wilkenson. You all rock!

Hey everybody, my name is Daniel Arena and I am the "reluctant frontman" of Untrained Eye. It has come to my attention that the posting above from Dave has been taken as a negative posting directed at the Underground or their management. The truth is quite the opposite. We all love the venue, and are excited to play there. If you have been there you know what a cool place it is, and if you haven't, you should come check it out.
The point Dave was trying to make was that because of a number of unfortunate events (not the leat of which being my decision to play through an untested wireless system, BIG MISTAKE) we weren't able to be properly mixed by ANYONE, and I stress that it was due to the necessary speed of the benefit, the changes in the band (we had never played there with keys and sax before), and my unfortunate sound decisions (wireless system and huge Bass cabinet) that our sound was not what we had hoped.
Where Dave can not be misunderstood is that we are in fact playing a full show there on sat., feb. 26th, and we will bring the house down. Because with improved equipment, and the time to do a full sound check to allow the sound team to adjust to our changes, there is no question in my mind that we will sound the best we ever have. Don't believe me, come out and let me prove it. Hope to see you all there, thanks again, and we apologise for any misunderstanding.
