McCombs, Cass - PREfection

One thing that I always look for when trying to grade an album is how well the songs mesh ... and when they don't it bothers the hell out of me. On PREfection (ha) Cass McCombs throws these tracks together as if it was of no concern. Well it is of concern ... to me. It goes fast slow, really fast, really slow ... just doesn't let me get into a mood and have him let me run with it. The part that bothers me the most is that the music isn't too bad at all.
